The Biology of Belief by Bruce Lipton, PhD.
This book will forever change how you think about your own thinking. Genes and DNA do not control our bodies. Stunning new research of the brain shows that all the cells of your body are affected by your thoughts. Using simple language, Dr. Lipton explains the profound effect thinking has on our personal lives and the collective life of our species.
The Emotion Code by Bradley Nelson, D.C.
Emotionally charged events from your past can still be haunting you in the form of trapped emotions in the cells of your body. Dr. Nelson describes how trapped emotions can create pain, malfunction and eventual disease. They can also exert a dramatic effect on how you think, the choices you make, and how successful you will be. He expounds on how these trapped emotional energies can gather around the heart to make a Heart Wall that can block you from freely giving and receiving love.
This book contains many examples of issues healed from many years of clinical practice. It’s easy to read and fascinating.
Pronoia – The Antidote for Paranoia by Rob Brezsny
Pronoia is defined as the opposite state of mind to paranoia; having the sense that there is a conspiracy that exists to help each person.
This happy book is great for morning meditations. Each page contains something different. A quote: “Pronoia is our word of power, the spell we cast to shake ourselves awake again and again. It’s the antidote for paranoia. It’s the brazen perception that all of creation is conspiring to shower you with blessings.” This is a must read on those days you wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
Creating a Charmed Life by Victoria Moran
As feng shui master, Ms. Moran shows in a friendly, folksy way how to make energy flow better in your home and life.
Read any and all of Lyall Watson’s books. He was a South African anthropologist, zoologist, botanist, biologist, reporter and author of fascinating books. He was a BBC TV producer and reporter who wrote nature shows. The man was so magical that I can read his books over and over again, and still enjoy them. I am so sad that he passed in 2008.
Among my favorites:
Gifts of Unknown Things: A True Story of Nature, Healing and Initiation from Indonesia’s Dancing Island in which he challenges our fixed beliefs about the world
Supernature (best seller) exploring ESP, Psychokinesis and telepathy in nature
Lifetide – he writes about his hundredth monkey theory, along with other fascinating info
The Nature of Things: The Secret Life of Inanimate Objects about how lost objects will find a way to return to their owner
Whole Hog – his last book, about the consciousness of pigs
